NEW MOMS GROUP is open to any mother who had a baby in the last 18 months. It is led by two of our therapists who specialize in new mother groups and postnatal care and who are also mothers themselves. Participants will also have the option to connect and meet with each other outside of the group as well. This is an intimate, virtual group with limited capacity.
OPEN CONVERSATIONS is a group led by Ashley Barad, LMSW. Ashley is a queer-identified psychotherapist who aims to provide an affirmative space for people of all identities and expressions to connect to and express their most essential selves. She especially values illuminating the needs and desires that powerful structures like compulsory monogamy obscure. This is a virtual group with limited capacity so make sure to reserve your spot soon.
DBT SKILLS is a group led by Kristen Quinones, LCSW. Kristen is a psychotherapist who aims to provide a safe space for clients to learn concrete strategies that anyone can use every day. DBT teaches essential skills that everyone can benefit from, including learning how to better identify and navigate all of your emotions. Kristen has collaborated with clients for the past 10 years to help improve their quality of life and empower them to live more authentically. Giving clients DBT skills is just one of the ways she has supported them to do so. You will leave every session with a new skill to practice. This group will focus on:
- Psychoeducation on Biosocial Theory
- Mindfulness Techniques
- Cognitive and Somatic Emotional Regulation Skills
- Distress Tolerance Skills
- Communication and Boundary Setting strategies
GRIEVING THE LOSS OF A PARENT is a group led by Sarah Kaufman, LMSW. Sarah is a licensed psychotherapist who believes that no two people grieve in quite the same way.
BEAT THE BURNOUT, a group led by Charlene Rymsha LCSW, author of "Burn Bright: Heal Yourself from Burnout and Live with Presence, Purpose & Peace".
